97 suburban, no rear braking
Good morning to all! Thanks in advance for any help and or reccomendations.
I received a 1997 suburban with no braking in the rear! I bleed the rear and had very little fluid comming out, the owner says that the main brake cylinder was replaced and he was informed that the ABS Valve body needed to be replaced.
Found on RR wheel that the cylinder was leaking and I had replaced it.
After all with a Tech II, did the function test and no DTC's are stored, Red brake light (@ cluster) is allways on, and rear brakes do not brake, and brake pedal goes close to the floor.
Talking to the owner mentioned that some time a go when checking levels someone poor hydraulic steering fluid in to the brake reservoar and started to have braking problems, when he knew about it he took it to a shop to have all the brake fluid replaced, but problems started, finally he talk to me and I told him I will look in to the vehicle, but problem does not solve.
Any reccomendation or commet will be appreciated.
Have a nice day.

if there not bleeding down well im noot sure why that is. It's possible the shoes aren't contacting the drums and may need to be adjusted or replace. Either way isn't hard to do.
