I looked thru my 1997 factory manual and could not find a bolt size but I can tell you that its supposed to be tighend to 18 foot pounds... I'll keep looking but your local autoparts store may know...
I won't sware to it but try this... Thread M12-1.75 Hex 15mm or 1/2-20 those are the most common GM oil pan plug sizes
