hi, everyone happy new year to all
i have a 98 2 door diesel that i love.
i have 2 problems that are stressing me out lately though, and i hope some kind folks can help.
1. the rear wiper makes a very strange and loud noise when it's in operation, yet works just fine. anyone had this problem?
2 the abs system kicks on at low speed parking for no reason. anyone out there know about this and how to fix?

I would change the wiper blade.

No idea about the ABS

Diesel is the S#^t. I hope they bring them back for the new models soon.

 

Your abs problemis probably due to the 'interruptor ring' (thats what they call them in the UK)on your wheel hub, its basically a series of metal studs which the abs detects constantly, if theres an interruption in the signal received, abscomes on. It should only require a clean up, could be a bit of rust on it, at worst you will need a new hub because its all connected.
