Default 98 Tahoe, Rear wiper removal

i am trying to remove the "rear wiper arm" and have had no luck, is there a special latch to get this off. don't wanna pry it and break the plastic nut that holds the assembly against the window.

Anyone?

Assuming you're trying to remove the arm at the motor shaft, it's usually a nut under a flip-up cover.

From the manual..

Remove or Disconnect

1. Washer hose
2. Lift the wiper arm assembly from the glass and pull the retaining latch
3. Wiper arm assembly from the wiper motor drive-shaft.
