Default '99 Custom Suburban

I'm looking to replace my '96 K2500 with something less broken. I've found a 1999 GMC Suburban 2500 that I'm going to look at this weekend. It is advertised as a Colorado Custom Truck Center model. Looks to be mostly bells and whistles on the interior. I can't find any info about them. Was this a dealer option special edition? Anybody know what I might be looking at or is this likely a "Pimp my ride" sort of one-off build truck? Looks to be in good shape. It has the 454, 2nd row captains chairs, opera lighting, skid plates, and some other decent parts.

I think it was offered through dealers in a particular region. A 2500 with the big block should serve you well. The mileage, on the other hand, will haunt you if gas prices go up again. Buddy of mine had one, he was thrilled whenever he got over 10 mpg.

My K2500 only does slightly better than that with mpg. It will be used mostly for pulling the horse trailer and some summer back-country road trips. Not my daily commuter.
