Default 99 sub leaking coolant

Leaking coolant from top front of transmission or top rear of engine area. a friend said there is a coolant hose goes into the rear of the intake manifold. If there is I sure can't see it. Is there any place to get a look at the cooling system on the net? Please help!!!

Been there, done that. Both my 1996 Tahoe and my 1999 Suburban had that exact problem. It was an intake manifold gasket in both cases. On the bright side, they have been flawless since the repair.

Happy New Year,

Thanks Y'all for the feed back.
Looks like $600 to $700 to get this thing fixed. Good thing I know a good honest shop. And no water in the oil.
