Hi
I get an error code up when I put a CD in and it won't play. The main head unit is fine (both radio & cassette). It's the seperate CD player bit that seems to be the issue.

I'm guessing the laser is the problem.
Anyone got an idea if I'm right?

I'm in the UK so don't know if any of our local car audio places would look at as they probably wouldn't manage to match the plugs anyway without having to pull both CD player and head unit together.

could be laser or motor. uk ebay might have replacement unit for ya. probably pretty cheap.

 

Thanks.....had a look a few weeks and nothing but will keep looking. One of my workmates lives in Canada so I could give it to him to get fixed over there if it comes to it.
