Tahoe & SuburbanThe power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.
I have a 1999 Suburban, 5.7 Vortec. When looking at a new power steering leak I noticed this wire/plug dangling down next to the exhaust manifold. I could have accidentally unplugged it from something when I installed a 2nd battery tray or it could go to something that did not come on my suburban and fell down from wherever it had been tied up. As best I can tell everything is working. I checked the power steering pressure switch and it was not that. For the life of me I can't find anything it plugs into. Any ideas what this goes to? Thanks for any help.
Arrows show the plug and where the two wires to the plug leave the wiring harness just under and between the VCM and ABS Control Module. Picture of the end of the plug And a side view showing the two wires.
