Default 99 suburban stutters going up hill

hey guys, i have a 99 suburban k1500 with 236,000 miles...every now and after driving all day i kind stutters when i'm going up hill kind of like its misfiring, the truck shifts fine so i dont think its the tranny, i know i'm a little over due for a tune-up which could be the cause but if not what else should i check after i do it if still does it...what i did to it so far was have the intake gasket changed because it leaking antifreeze from the top end and it would threw a code for the cat a couple of time before i changed the gasket....since it was repaired, no codes...thanks in advance

If you know you're overdue for a tune up I think I would just go ahead and start there seeing how it needs to be done anyway.

the only thing i go autozone for is oil and coolant, other than that i hate that store with a passion...as soon as some money frees up, i will do the tune-up

While you're in there, check the fuel pressure.
