99 Tahoe, 252k, new spider fuel injectors installed, engine blew immediately, hole n
Had shop install new spider injectors and engine blew at less than a quarter of a mile. The engine has 252,000 miles. Hole in piston. Is this a coinsidence?

Probably, but your 99 Chevy came with poppet valve injectors, not the new style. I wonder if the ECM/PCM couldn't compensate for the new spider injectors? With 252 K on the motor, anything is possible.
