So I have a 99 Tahoe 350 SS 2wd. The tranny went TU. I bought a tranny out of an '00 or '01 S10 2wd. The bell housing was different, so we took the torque converter and bell housing from my old 4L60E and used it with the new transmission. At first we forgot to put the linkage bracket back on but now that we did you can feel the shifter move and you can tell there tranny is going to the right gear but the dash goes from like D to R, 3, P, 2, N, 1 instead of P, R, N, D, 3, 2, 1 as normal and doesn't move... What's wrong or did we screw up switching the bell housing? Please and ty
