ABS/Brake Light

ABS/Brake Light
I have an ABS code on the code reader, but no brake or ABS light on the dash. Also, no ABS or brake light when ignition is in the on position, but engine not started. Does anyone know what would cause these lights to malfunction? Cheers. Wavelength.
