newbie and i searched but cant find if my 07 suburban ltz 1500 has it cause there isnt any v8 or v4 notifications on my dash so tired of googling and figured here would be the place to ask. thank you

 

Might be on your VIN. I dont and never have liked engines that shut down half the cylinders. Way too old school for that. Cadillac tried it back when carburetors were
still around and it was a disaster, just like the 350 5.7 GM tried to turn into a diesel engine. LOL!!!

 

ill look into that, thank you. yeah im not about that shut off half life lol if i wanted to save gas i would have bought a different vehicle lol now to figure which letter would say lol

 

You'll likely be able to hear when it's in V4 , the exhaust note is pretty distinctive, has a low rumbly sound when cruising...
