Default Air/Fuel gage

Has anyone hooked up and air/fuel gage narrow band. I know there not that accurate, but I have had one in another vehicle a long time ago and seemed to work good under acceleration. the one i put in my truck just goes crazy and jump back and forth way to much. I am going to put a new o2 sensor in today to see if it helps any. other than that auto meter said i can send it back for them to look at. just seeing if anyone else had these problems. i have had o2 sensors bad before without throwing codes truck does has 71,000 on it. just not happy this thing is not really giving my any idea of where my air/fuel is at. hate to spend the money on a wideband and have to install all that goes with it. any input would be great.
