Air Ride Suspension issues on 2021 Suburban High Country
Hey all,
Hoping to hear anyone else’s thoughts or work arounds on the air ride suspension of the Suburban. We purchased our 2021 High country with the 6.2 back last January and have on 2 or 3 occasions had the car lock us out of raising the suspension out of normal. This would be fine if it weren’t happening at such fun times as: on a very rutted dirt road where the extra inch or two would have saved our undercarriage from bottoming out, or the best so far, 5 miles out in soft sand. We ended up leaving quite a trail as our undercarriage dragged through the sand and I am only thankful we didn’t hit anything harder than sand.
Now most of the times has been while we have more than 4 people in the car, but that seems a silly limit for such a heavy duty vehicle? We have also had it happen once with an empty Yakima on the car, I thought perhaps it was a height issue?
anyone else find a work around, or fix for this?

Still under the 3/36 warranty? If so take it in as maybe a ride height sensor is out of adjustment or there is a recalibration needed.
I only have auto leveling in my Tahoe and it also has a ride height sensor but just in the rear.
Maybe it got damaged doing some off roading.
