Anyone here ever change door pins? I have a 99 Tahoe that I'm about to change the door pins and thebushings. Anyone ever do this? Anyone got insight?

The hard part is removing the door.
Then grind off the bottom of the hinge pin and drive out with a punch and hammer.
Fastener torque is 18lb/ft for the bolts and 14lb/ft for the locknuts.

Ok, so i have to completely remove the door? I have a hand held disk grinder, so that should be easy. Might have to build something to hold the door.

Have a friend give you a hand as well so you don't do any damage to the door, be careful not to pull the wires apart there is just very little slack once the door is separated.
