Default Autoride - Air Leak - Tube Part Number?

I replaced my compressor and shocks a about a month ago. I found that the compressor is running too much so I figure I have a leak. With my boat hooked up it kicks on about every 5 minutes.

Questions: should I take the time to try and find the leak or should I just go ahead and replace the air lines? The connector on the right was different, so I'm guessing it's been replaced.

If I do investigate this, on suggestions on where to start? I was thinking of using soapy water to find it.

Does anyone have a part number for the air tubes? I called my dealer and they told me it was 66 bucks, they've never sold one, and I forgot to get a part number.

Thanks

The connectors are the same. For whatever reason GM used metal clips on all but 2 of the connections. (so that they break and your compressor wears out and the dealer gets another job, why else would there plastic?) Good luck getting the air lines. I can't find them any where. I haven't yet tried the dealership though but there are always extremely expensive compared to online...

One of ours is extremely close to being worn through (driver side, it has been rubbing on the compressor cage) so for now, I wrapped it up in a bunch electrical tape tightly as it isn't leaking yet...

Called the dealer today and got the part number: 19115819 Looked around online and found it for about 30 bucks. Lot cheaper than the 66 the dealer wanted.

Joe, thanks for looking in to this, I think I have a similar leak but haven't had the chance to get under there yet and investigate. Is this part number the actual tube that's leaking? Or is it for all air lines?

I was able to take a look at my compressor, but didn't see anything obvious. Replacing the air line going to the passenger side looks like it would be very challenging. Tough to get a good look at everything without taking the compressor off the car.

Here's a better picture of the tee that connects all the high pressure lines.

I received the air tube this weekend. It was only for the passenger side. I will probably leave the existing tube intact and just run the new along side it.

I'm going to call the dealer and see if their parts diagram shows it as both sides with the tee or if it was just the passenger side. I'd rather just replace the whole thing if I can.

Gotcha, it looks like the Dorman 949-001 compressor comes with all air tubes except for the one you ordered. Oddly, it looks like you can also order model 949-000 that doesn't come with any air tubes. I guess my plan at this point is replace my compressor with the dorman, and if there's still a leak I'll order the passenger side tube.

FYI,
The Dorman 949-000 has a different plug then the 949-001, make sure you get the correct one!

Good call, looks like the 949-000 is for pre-2007 models.
