Default Autoride system?

I have a 2008 Suburban LT. No Autoride system.<O</O

Can I install 1 with the correct shocks, or is it more complicated than that?

I would want to use the gm autoride pump, not an after market pump.

why do you want this? from all I have read they are more of a pain than worth (and expensive to repair). unless you want to haul a heavy load - if so I would add aftermarket air bags just to the rear to keep you level.

I do haul some loads.

My 2002 had this and it was nice when the truck was full. The truck road nice when it was level.

Be a lot easier and cheaper to install some air bags or air shocks that you can air up when you're hauling loads.

The OEM system shocks are very expensive and besides the compressor, you'd need the sensors and I'm not sure if your BCM could handle it.

I thought there was more to it. I thought it might have been prewired too.

Does anyone recommend an air system to use. One that will rise when i put 900 pounds of stuff in it.
