Aux Fuel Outlet or Standpipe for Espar Heater?
Hello everyone...I am installing an Espar Hydronic Water Heater (block heater) into my 2011 Suburban. I have been looking for, but haven't found if there is an Aux fuel tap or an accessory fuel outlet on the tank. Basically, I'm trying to figure out where to tap into the fuel system so I can supply my new block heater with combustion fuel. Might there be a place to tap into the fuel system that doesn't require me dropping the tank and tapping in my own standpipe? Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!
Nope, fuel system is pressurized on feed and return lines so leave them alone. You'll have to drop the tank and put an independent non pressurized line in for the heater. Those heaters are meant for big trucks not light duty trucks so no aux. fuel sources.
Is this Sub diesel? I hope so as I've never heard of a gasoline fired heater.
