Default 1997 tahoe 5.7 vortec wont start

Hey guys,
Im in need of your assistance today.
A friend of mine got his dads 1997 tahoe and its been sitting for 6 years. As you would expect, it wont start, but i wanna know why. Ive already changed the fuel pump and somehow i dont see gas on the top fuel lines going inside the intake.
Also I checked the spark plugs and i see a weak orange spark, tested the ignition coil spark and it also creates a orange spark but it aint weak.
could anybody help me get this tank moving?

Spray some carb cleaner into the throttle body and see if it starts. If so you are probably looking at fuel that has varnished in the tank and/or fuel lines.

Just the other day i sprayed a bit of starting fluid and it ran. So im guessing it is the fuel lines. Maybe something clogged them up, because I already changed the fuel pump.

Did you change the fuel filter? It's small and is a 30k mile maintenance item anyway that always never gets changed in a trucks life until it plugs up.

Did you dump the 6 year old gas & clean the tank before trying to start it?

yeah, old gas went yellow so i flushed it with new gas so thats out the window. I figured at this point im going to check fuel lineage just to see if anything from the old filter clogged it up

Hopefully the crappy spider injectors aren't plugged up.
