1997 Suburban 5.7 Vortec won't start
While driving my Suburban a month ago it just quit running, I towed it to a mechanic here in Siguatepeque, Honduras because I am not mechanically inclined. We have blue spark, fuel pressure 55 lbs. new distributor, cap, wires, plugs, ECM, crankshaft sensor, ignition module and fuel pump andit still will not start. I just attended a conference here in Siguatepeque and shared my story only to find out there are three more Suburbans in Honduras sitting unable to start. Mechanics here are not certified and most learned from their fathers. One gentleman took his Chevy to the dealership for analysis and they too are stumped. Update: the fuel injectors were malfunctioning, sating open and flooding the car. Replaced them and on the road again. I hope this helps someone.
