2007 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LT
Yesterday, I tried, unsuccessfully, to program a secondary keyless remote. Did not think too much about it, until this morning, when I went to crank the car and the vehicle was completely and utterly dead. NOTHING IS WORKING. Even the security light on the dash is not showing anything. DEAD, BLANK, DARK...Thinking that the battery had drained, I proceeded to JUMP start the vehicle to no avail. It is to be noted that I woke to sub 30 degree rainy weather.
I am thinking that I did something to the security system, inadvertently, which has caused the vehicle to go completely DEAD.
Any suggestions before I have to TOW this paperweight to the dealership?
Any help is appreciated.

I had a similarproblem with my old GMC Yukon it didn't involve a key less entry. I did some work and had the exact starting problem. Turns out the negative battery cable bolt was stripped and thus no connection. You couldn't tell by looking at it, and it barly even moved when I touched it like maybe a mm no joke. I replaced that bolt and no more problems. Crazy thing it was the last thing I checked and replaced before I was going to have her big butt towed.
Good luck,
Matt

I have a 97 suburban,4x4 it was running great, I went to back up and park and it started to have a bad miss at idle and under acceleration, service light began to flash then stayed on, when I checked the codes only one came up 300 engine misfire, has anyone had this problem and what should do. It has a new cap and rotor and newcam sensor thanks Ron
