I can't tell any difference in the sound. It might be very slightly louder. I haven't "floored it" since I had the resonator removed so I don't know if it's louder at full throttle.
The tires are made in China by "Sunny". They came with the wheels and are brand new so I'll use them until they wear out. They ride fine and are pretty quiet.
