Default Block heater and auxiliary water pump

So I know the factory block heater only works below 0 degrees but with an aftermarket one and possibly a small auxiliary water pump to circulate the coolant could I avoid the CEL dealing with the IAT being too far apart?

probably not...the rationality check probably uses more than the iat and ect thermistors...the ambient temp sensor may also be looked at by the pcm. the iat and ambient temp sensors won't be effected by circulating coolant. I use synthetic oil for the cold start ups. You could by a cheap code reader to clear the codes or pay for a custom tune.
