Default blower motor malfunction

2007 1500 Suburban LTZ

Howdy All, here is what is going on. Recently I was driving with the radio and AC on. The radio suddenly turned off and reset it self. With in the hour, the front AC stopped blowing. The rear continues to work just fine. I went to Autozone to get a new fuse or relay, but the gentlemen behind the counter informed me that it was more than likely a melted wire running to the resistor or blower. Pulling the wire harness everything looked fine. Did more research, possibly the resistor. SO I replaced the resistor and the blower began working again...without stopping or having control over it. Next I replaced the cable from the resistor to the actual blower, nothing changed. So as of now I have the cover off from under the dash, so I can unhook the blower and not have to take my negative terminal off the battery every time I park. Any help would be much appreciated. Could it be the relays or the actual control unit on the dash?

Problem #2: The passenger seat adjustment is not working. Haven't dug into that problem yet, but that has been on going for a year or so.

the resistors usually burn out when the blower motor is failing. They should be replaced together.
Now you probably welded shut your blower relay.

Replace the motor and relay.

Well, I have now replaced the following: Blower motor, resistor, cable from resistor to blower. I have also double checked fuses. Still having the same problems. A gentleman at the auto parts store told me its the actual control module at this point. So, it still blows nice an cold when I plug in the blower, it just never turns off. The nice part is, when I am driving down the highway (with the blower disconnected). Cold air still pushes out at me, as long as I do not have the recirculate button activated. Any other possibilities before I go and drop a few hundred bucks on a new AC control module? Also I have searched high and low for where the blower relay is located. Is it built into the resistor? Thanks for any help.

well apparently your vehicle doesn't have resistors or relays. The motor is driven by the "Blower Motor Control Module" and controlled with the HVAC control module.
Power comes from fuses 38 and 73 , through ignition voltage from the Body Control Module

I tested the control module with my multimeter, it is not the culprit. It is not sending out an errant voltage causing the blower to continue to run. I am now at a loss. Not quite sure how to proceed, without taking it to a mechanic.
