RE: Brake & ABS light on dash
Did you checked the level of brake fluid in reservoir is itup the MAX Mark and not less then Min mark? This thing happens when brake pads life is about to finish, and brake fluid level drops belowmin mark, and both lights keeps flickering on and off.
Unless you connect code reader/scanner/or dealer tech2 you wont find which ABS sensor has gone bad.
I have not seen yet if there is ABS problem the brake light will glow on cluster, but i have seen when there problem in base brake both lights glow on cluster. If there is problem in ABS only ABS light will glow. Let me know what you found, may be i'm wrong here.

Fluid is good, I just did fresh pads, thought I would try that first. So you think I need to take it and have it plugged in? Will I need to go to the dealer, or is this something that the Autozone tester can pick up?

I was having the same problem and took it to dealer they said the EBCM needed to be replaced
and for a mear 1200.00 they could do it.
I talked the wife into purchasing the tech 2 because I didnt trust the dealer and it would pay for itself.
I have the Helm manuals and it gives a syep by step using the Tech 2 scan tool.
Turns out it was only a bad connection at the EBCM.
The scan tool ran 3 tests and all is good.
Well on the of what I told my wife ' it will pay for itself '

buying a tech2 to diagnose a brake problem is kinda like saying to buy a lumber mill to get a 2x4.

Your right Qbert - but I look at it like this... I would have spent over 2000.00 in repairs at the dealer. I would much rather spend that money on a tool (the RIGHT tool) to do the repairs my self.
Freinds are asking me to hook up to their cars and have no issue with a 20.00 contrabution...
Well on my way to the 3500.00 cost of the Tech 2.

both my ABS and brake light came on and i did a search. everything pointed the EBCM so i sent it off to www.modulemaster.com had them fix it and i reinstall and all is well. a lot cheaper than what the dealer would have charged.
