Default brake system gremlin?

The 2005 Suburban's emergency brake light (!)and traction control light suddenly came on and I had almost no brakes at all in city traffic! The pedal went to the floor and the braking power was near non existent! This went on for about ten minutes and then, as quickly as the problem appeared, it disappeared. Brake pads and fluid are fine, and the above mentioned lights turned off.

Anyone know what happened? Wouldn't it to do that again, would've been easy to crash. Thanks.

I've never seen a stainless steel line from factory from any Asian or domestic manufacturer. Which car maker does this?

Curious as to where you found that information about GM using stainless steel brake lines. All the brake lines I've seen over the last 50 years use a special tin plated steel tubing.
