Interested if anyone has done this sucessfully? Just picked up a '07 Tahoe, Black Interior, and would be interested in havinga bench seatinsted of buckets in the second row. Im sure it can be done just wondering. Not to much info out there on finding a donor vehicle either. If there is anyone interested in buckets let me know.

It can be done. You'll need to swap the seats, the brackets bolted to the floor, and the false-floor panel that covers those brackets. You can't swap seats with a Suburban, the Tahoe has a raised portion for the rear wheel well that the Suburban doesn't have, so the floor brackets are totally different.

I wish a Tahoe/Suburban swap was possible, I have a black leather bench in my 07 Suburban that Id like to swap for captain's chairs...

Did you check the classifieds in this forum? Also try ebay. Might mention to your dealer contact in case they get a customer that wants buckets. Good luck.

Any luck in swap-land? I'm looking to swap my 2008 titanium 2nd row leather bench setup for buckets. My Tahoe is new and actually still at the dealership for another 48 hours. Thanks for looking. So far, no luck in the classifieds or eBay. Hmmm.

 

I am attempting the Tahoe to Suburban swap. The floor plates for the captains chairs are different as mentioned above. I ordered the Suburban floor plate and will swap it out. Will let you know how it goes.

I want to change my 2017 captains chairs in black cloth for a bench! Have all parts, bolts, trim, ext in Floida if someone wants to make a day out of trading and reattacting the chairs!
