Default build date

I just picked up my new tahoe. Its a "leftover" '07 but still new....
can anyone help me find out when it was built.... the only info i have is the vin.. i am wondering if the last part of the vin can approximate the month/day/shift of the build. any assembly plant employees out there??[/align]

The inside tag on the door gives the month/year of the build. Upper right hand corner on mine simply says "09/06"

but something doesnt make since.... mine says 12/06... i really dont believe mine sat on a dealers lot from december 2006 until october 2007. the vehicle only has 171 miles and is spotless inside,outside,underneath, etc.... it might make since if that 12/06 meant june 12th, 2007..

anyone else????

12/06 was when it was built. The truck spent it's time at the plant and the dealer. I'm sure it's accurate.
