Thanks! Good pics. Looks like you welded the tip to a short piece and then welded that to the stub just aft of the last hanger bracket.

Just a comment: looks like the tip is very close to the plastic bumper cover. Might watch for any signs of temperature effects on it.

 

I agree, Shark...I think it will survive the heat, but I am a bit paranoid about it. I really think it looks better tucked in rather than hanging too low, though.

I'll let you know if I find that it discolors the paint, warps, or whatever else might happen...
