Default Buying '97 Tahoe from parents. Anything I need to worry about?

Hey all!

I'm new to this forum. I am going to be purchasing a '97 Tahoe LT (I believe the 5.7L V8) from my family (they are the original owners). I know that it is in good condition with only 70K miles on it. I just wanted to reach out to you all and see if there are any preventative maintenance items that I should get ready to replace, any typical parts that need replacement in the higher mileage years etc.... Thanks in advance!!!

well first off.. put some monroe reflex shocks on it.. they rock.. summitracing.com makes some good sway control springs for $50 for the back. what a difference. oh yeah, look at the intake, oil cooler lines, front axel seals. Would recommend replaceing front and rear diff fluid with new 75w-90 synthetic, and put autotrac fluid in the transfercase. oh yeah also the p/s pump front seal might leak. other than that those are solid trucks
