Buying a new (used) Tahoe
Hi all,
New here..have a question. I am going to look at two 2013 Tahoe LT's tomorrow. One is a certified Chevrolet truck, costing $36,999 with 32,000 miles. The other is virtually the same truck, but not certified and 33,900. The non certified car has the Sun and Fun package and has the DVD player with screens in the headrests facing the rear buckets. Both have moon roofs, 20 inch tires, everything really except navigation. Is the certified car worth the extra price? The non certified car appears cleaner and more well kept in the pics, but should we go for the assurances of having the warranty with the certified Chevy? They are very similar cars, even both being silver ice metallic! I am sad to even think about replacing my 03 Tahoe. It has truly been the best car I have ever owned.

Agree w/ fparkin. Check out the cost of an extended warranty that's equivalent to the certification warranty.
There's a GMC/Buick dealer (I believe the name is Black) that sells GMPP extended warranties at a very good discount.

Neither one has excessive miles on it. See if they have maintenance records for both trucks and pick the one that was maintained the best. Either one should be a good truck. Buying the extended warranty is a good option.
