Default A/C Auto acting up!

I just noticed that my driver's side unit is blowing out hot air. I have my settings on auto both the Driver and passenger setting is at 70.. I checked the passengers side and it is blowing out cooler air and the driver hot. Does anyone have any clues as to what is wrong or if anyone has had this problem. I don't want to take it to the dealership if it is just the fuses. If anyone can help thanks!

This problem is not common but it happens on occasion.
Have the dealer replace the connector pigtail (part # 12102485) and temperature actuator (part # 89018365) on the effected side.

They can reference PIT4524 which was just released last week.

Thisstarted to happen to me. Is this easy to replace? I have no warranty on the truck and would need to do it myself. Is this expensive?

It is a marginally difficult procedure and the parts retail for about $240, are you guys out of warranty on your 07 Tahoe's all ready?

I don't have a 2007 Tahoe, I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado Z71 Crew cab.

MY 2004 did this last week for about 2 minutes. I corrected it by shutting the engine off and left the vehicle for about an hour. Upon return the driver's side was blowing cold again as well as all other vents that did not go to the HOT air.

Since it is thus far not even intermitteent having happened once, Is this the connector problem / actuator problem?
Something else?

Thanks
