Default A/C blowing Hot Air

I have a 97 tahoe and I just cut my A/C on first the first time this year and it's blowing hot air. It was working just fine last summer.
I had to put in a blend door actuator this past winter because it was clicking all the time. Could this have messed it up?
I'm hoping I can just recharge the A/C unit if that's possible. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

Default well

open hood
start engine (A/C OFF)
check out compressor

turn A/C ON, watch compressor.

If it's not turning on at all: check fuses.

If it turns on / off: check coolant pressure.

or as GM would say "did you know you can take it to your dealer, and have them work on it for $80/hr?!"

Good thinking to go back to what you know you may have influenced...
as STS suggested check the compressor for operations is the least invasive

here are some links that might be of some help https://chevroletforum.com/forum/gen...g-101-a-34615/
