Default A/c issues

I have a 2015 suburban, the back row A/C blows like an Eskimo hooker, the front blows warm pretty regularly with a rare few times it’ll blow cold. I can’t figure out why because I’d assume it’s all coming from the same place. Not super mechanically knowledgeable so forgive me if I’m wrong about that. Has anyone else had this issue or know what the fix would be. I did check the charge and it’s just right.

Welcome to the forum from Oregon.

Sounds like a blend door actuator causing problems. They are a known weak point that fails at times. It looks like this and there are more than one of them in the dash area. It is what opens and closes the doors when commanded to by the controller.

https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...307626&jsn=909 This may not be the one that is causing the problem but the system should be checked by a qualified tech to be sure.

On my 2005 Yukon, I had a bad actuator, would blow hot in front. I installed a Dorman replacement. There are like 3 different actuators under the dash; on mine, most difficult part was removing the undercover, had to grind a 5.5mm socket shorter at both ends to fit.

Yes, I believe there are 3 actuators under the dash and one is hard to get to. There are you tube videos out there for that work. Do not just go with the first you tube video you look at. I have seen good videos and crap videos. Watch 3-4 and get the idea/path you plan to take.
