Welcome to the forum and congratulations of the purchase of your new Suburban.

The differential lock was an option from the factory on your truck. It was a $295 option. You should discuss adding the option with the service department where you purchased the truck. They will be able to provide you with the best information on the upgrade.

You can definitely add this to your truck.

Good luck with your truck.
