Can I block off my rear A/C?
Hi, folks
I just bought a '99 Suburban which was too not rusty and too good a price to decline, but I knew its A/C did not work. I had hoped for a cheap(ish) fix but no...
The mechanic said that the rear A/C lines are leaking and it's a 1300 dollar fix to get them and the new evaporator replaced. I don't want to spend that and no one rides in the back. i see there are block off kits but the mechanic made noises like that was a bad idea. Has anyone got experience of doing this? If you could share i would be very grateful. The kit is here: http://www.rayeveritt.com/
Thanks
