Default Can a L35 block be used to replace a LF6 block on csfi setup

I have a 95 CPI with a L35 block(s10), can it be used to replace the LF6 block on my 96 CSFI blazer. What are the differences if any in the blocks? Is there a downside to doing this?

To reiterate I am only discussing the block swap, not intake and fuel system, ECM etc,,,,
