Default Can I put a stabilitrak rear end on a suburban without stabilitrak?

We have a 2003 1500 Chevy suburban. 4 wheel drive. Gear ratio 3.73. No stabilitrak. We need to replace the rear end. We have located one that has stabilitrak, but we aren't sure if it is compatible. Everything else on the new rear end is a match except the fact that it has stabilitrak and our vehicle does not. Can we use it?

as far as i know the stabiilitrac system differences are in the ebcm brake programming...stabilitrac applies individual disc brakes to correct for under/over steer.

Didn't they use the trans output speed sensor in the early '00's for stabiltrak speeds before they went to individual wheel sensors ?
If original didn't have wheel sensors then a dif. with them will not make a difference. As long as gear ratios match that's what matters.
