Can You Override Autoride?
Hey, all. Great forum; thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
I have a 2004 Suburban K1500 with Autoride. I also have a garage with an overhang at the back. Long story short, the garage is deep enough to fit the Suburban, but the overhang is about a half inch or inch too low for me to fit it all the way in.
Is there any way to tell the Autoride system to lower all the way, so that I can drive into the garage?

not that I'm aware of, however one could conceivably disconnect power to the air compressor, but that wouldn't vent it...
the only thing I know of to do would be make the sensors think the truck is higher than it is, so that would set a new 'level' position.... you'd have to interrupt the signal from the sensors or adjust the (I believe fixed) arm length.
or park it outside...

Press and hold the Stabilitrak button. After 4 to 6 seconds, stabilitrak, traction control and Ride Control are now defeated until next vehicle engine start cycle.
Sorry I could be of no assiatnce for your year of vehicle.
However, good luck!
