Can you use sliding 2nd and 3rd row bench for 3/4 ton Suburban
Hey. We have a 2003 Suburban 3/4 ton LT with the 8.1 liter. The 2nd and 3rd row bench seats are fixed to the floor; they don't slide. The handle behind the seats is to fold them flat for access. Can you mount tracks on the bolts so that the bench seats slide forward and back? We have to fit at least 7 people in it and it gets tight because the seats don't slide for the longer-legged. The third row in particular could use sliding tracks because the solid rear axle doesn't allow for much room.
I did do some research on the web, but all guides I found concerned swapping the bench for captain's chairs. Has anyone on this forum done something similar or do you have any advice.
