i cant find an exaust system (besides corsa, borla, and SLP) im looking for flowmasters promarily, i want a bolt on kit not a muffler and pipe bending puzzle. dual swept side behind each tire.. i dont want something quiet. more close to obnoxious. i usually have my system thumping all the time so i dont care about interior drone and what not. i had magnaflows on my sierra.. looking for something a bit louder so not leaning twards that. let me know!

 

I went to a local shop that I know does nice work and had a 22 inch Magnaflow and resonator delete done with a stainless tip added for $240...I am very happy with it. Sounds like you would be happier with the smaller muffler or a Flowmaster...

 

thats not a bad price. how does it sound. what kind of truck? how long did it take them. and is everything from the cat backwards been replaced or just the muffler

 

2010 Tahoe, just the muffler the factory pipe is not really all that bad, good bends...It is probably too quiet for your tastes..but sounds great. Resonator gone too. Took them about an hour. Factory muffler is huge..

 

yeeah the factory muflfler is huge i looked under and saw from the cat back before it goes into the muffler it goes thru another similar shaped but alot smaller peice? is that the resonator? or is the resonator the peice connected to the tip?

 

The resonator is the small cylindrical muffler behind the RR tire. There's three cats, the two pups next to the manifolds (they light off quicker as they heat up faster) and the main cat in front of the big honkin' muffler that weighs a ton. Well 40 or 50 lbs at least.
