Haven't purchased the front yet. The rear one is free. Just remove the gold "cover" and reveal the chrome beneath.

Ebay has an actual chrome front bowtie for 75. I purchased the cheaper one off ebay that is billet, if money isnt an issue I would get the chrome one. The polished isnt as sharp IMO.

I paid the 75 for the chrome off ebay. Looks reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll good. The rear, all you have to do is peel off the gold one. Use fishing line or heat to soften the glue/double sided tape. Be careful not to scratch the chrome underneath the gold one. After you remove the gold bowtie from the rear, it's just like chrome.

Black looks cool on black. Removed it, sanded with 400, primed painted and clearcoated. Did the hubs on the factory 20's too.

Not too sure, I don't like the gold either. I think the black does look better than the gold, just not ideal if you know what I mean.

Looks good! [sm=goodidea.gif]

If you plan to keep your truck beyond the first set of tires, you might considered having the clip-on weights replace with stick-ons on the inside. Two benefits, they don't show and more important, they don't wear thru the clear coat. Even though GM is using coated clip-ons now, they still wear thru the clear coat. I had mine done at about 1200 miles and there was already some wear-thru. Once the film is broken, the aluminum will start oxidizing and turning white.
