I'd like to order those chrome bulbs, but I still cant figure out how to open up the headlight housing in the back to change them out. I wanted to get HID but for the same reason I havent bought them yet either. Someone on here said something about removing clips but I guess I'm too dumb, because I dont see any clips. Can anyone give a full explanation on how to get the housing open so I can do some of these minor mods? THanks

I can't find it but someone wrote a detailed explanation somewhere in the forum of how to remove the headlight.....

Ireplaced my headlights with HID'syesterday and I also replaced my turn signal marker lights with the sylvania silverstar bulbs, it was the biggest pain in the a$$. I couldn't get the whole headlight out farther than 3 inches so it was not that easy of a task. However it was worth it I love my HID lights and the silver star bulbs look freakin awesome.

To give you a quick run down of how I got my headlight out:
* I removed the visible screws that hold the headlight in place under the hood
* I pulled back the wheel well lining by unscrewing a couple of screws and popping out two panel attachment pins
* Then there is a screw inside the wheel well that I pulled out that seems to be the last thing holding the headlight in
* From there I could pull the headlight out a few inches, just enough to change out all the bulbs

i did that first with the headlights puting some black vinyl. it worked preatty good. as far the headlights go, my self and somebody else did the change to hids with only removing the 2 upper screws and fitting our hands just enough to install the lights.
