Default Clearing oil life message off dashboard

I have a 2016 Suburban. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of, clear off, remove the oil life display that’s stuck on my dash? I DON’T WANT TO RESET MY OIL LIFE! I want to CLEAR the oil life display OFF of my dash gauge. No matter how you word the question in YouTube or Google, it only returns info on how to reset it. Please help!

Dash menu changes the display. I don't have a '16 but it should be in the owners manual. If you don't have a manual go the chevrolet.com and you should be able to see the one for yours that will tell you how to change DIC displays.

Default No, the manual doesn’t tell you how to get rid of it

The manual doesn’t tell you how to clear OFF the message. It only tells you how to RESET the monitor back to 100% after an oil change. The message is stuck to the dashboard and nothing I’ve pressed, stomped on or held down removed it off my dash. Please tell me how to GET RID OF THE MESSAGE! Do not respond with how to RESET it. You are misconstruing the word RESET! It doesn’t mean turn it off, it means setting it back to 100%. I want it GONE!

The screen is called the Driver Information Center or DIC. The oil life is one of many screens available on the DIC. There are many others including miles per gallon, trip, tire pressure, etc. .
You have to LEARN how to change screens via the manual. I'm NOT talking about resetting the oil life but on how to CHANGE which screen of the many screen views are being displayed.
In my '16 Equinox it's done via menu buttons, same in my Tahoe. Sometime even I have to refer the the manual on my Equinox to remember how to toggle the many different screens that are available since I have several different Chevy's across different years and they all have different buttons and sequences.
The multiple DIC screen views and how to change them are in the manual.

I've found that ANYTHING I look up in my owner's manual, refers me to a different chapter which then refers me to a different chapter.

My 2011 stereo is not shown at all in the manual.

My 2011 does not work to open my Liftmaster garage door unless I buy some sort of relay.
