Default Cold Air Intake for 2005 Tahoe LT, 5.3L

Hello,

What id the best CAI I cant get for my Tahoe? I like volant, but I would like to know which is best for my vehicle dealing with MPG & HP.

Welcome to the forum...
I'm sure your going to get plenty of input on CAI's but a word of caution, you won't be able to use HP and MPG in the same sentence , for one to go up the other has to go down...
I know some folks like the Chevy CAI as it has a factory look and fit...

I predict you will not see any mpg improvement or hp increase. K&N shows a hp increase but it's up around 5,000 rpm. Don't know about you but I don't spend much time at 5K. You will get an increase in induction noise which always translates to the butt dyno as a hp increase.

That being said, I have a GM CAI for sale that fits a 2007 and maybe others but won't fit my 2010.
