Default Coolant leaking from exhaust manifold

After cylinder head replacement now I have coolant coming from top of exhaust manifold between 6 and 8 cylinders until engine is warm wtf dropped Suburban off at shop for warranty but what happend ?

See the light spot on manifold with white edges ( burnt coolant)

I'd say cracked head, if the head gasket was leaking the leak would be below the exhaust manifold not above it! Going away after warm up makes me think crack too, head heats up and expands closing the crack.

Good point. Could also be intake gasket which is above exhaust manifold. Could be seeping around.

@NPoulos
why did you get top end work done?

why did you get top end work done?
the head was replaced after first the exhaust manifold bolts broke and I installed a clamp type repair to that then the plug blew out of cylinder 8 when I took it to the shop they informed me that none of the plugs were the correct plugs and all were less than finger tight I asked them to replace all plugs and that head the other head still had good threads and exhaust manifold bolts were already replaced so no issues on that side

OK so it didn't overheat. I assume you mean spark plugs and not core plugs.

I would inspect the intake gasket.

If you know anybody has a smoke machine I would try that because that will actually show you where the leak is before you go turn it down again
