Default Creaking when turning

Hey there,

I do have a new Tahoe Z71 and today while the AC Fan was pretty low for the first time because temperatures dropped below 35C I could hear a mild metal creaking from the front suspension while turning and driving over a bumpy road.

Now I am not sure if this is something "normal" in the Tahoe or if I should see the dealer for that? Its not really making a lot of sound but you can hear some noise.

EDIT:
I just remember that once I took it offroad in the desert and I sent it flying at around 10inches. Is the suspension supposed to handle that? Are there any parameters about what a suspension should be able to handle?

Only grease zerks are on the tie rod ends. All others are "sealed".

Take it in. There is a TSB for the front struts.

That's going to be difficult since only the two tie rod ends have zerks.

how so? you get a can of white lithium grease and spray it right inside the control arm bushings, 4 on each side. While you re at it spray some on the bushings for the front susp. and sway bar link bushings also.

that sound is usually a ball joint. If you are turning to the right and you here the sound from the right it is the lower right BJ. If you are turning right and you hear it from the left then it is the upper left BJ. same thing for the other side just reversed. I had a lot of BJ problems with my 26" inch wheels. Change one BJ every 6 months or so.
