diff swap HELP SUB
I am new here, after searching many post and web sites I have still not found
answers on my Diff swap. I guess that means no one has tried this yet maybe.
what I would like to do is swap a 95 10.5 drum brake diff from a sub to a later model 10.5 with disc. From my research I am aware the newer diff is wider at track width, but it looks like there is plenty of room. After talking to the salvage yard they say it will not work. I have measured both and don't see the problem. They really didn't know why. Any help would be nice
