Default module

that is correct, the price may vary, but the concept is accurate.

ever since 2000ish GM has had the bright idea to save $0.03 by using the car speakers to play the 'ding, bong, cheep, chong, whack, crack, meep, and other various useless noises'. so without the interface, you are out of luck for the sounds.

at least when putting the key IN the tahoe w/the driver door open it doesn't beep at you... whoever made that decision, give that man a raise!

The stock turn signal and other chimes emanate from the driver's side A-pillar tweeter.

Default Chime Volume

I picked au an 07 LTZ and the turn signals are super quiet. Also when I program the seat buttons there is no beep at all along with no beep from while using my park assist. the truck has an Eclpise radio installed, could the aftermarket radio be the culprit?

I wonder if I replace the Eclipse with a factory radio will I then get the beeps, chimes and that stuff back?

Probably since the chimes and beeps go thru the radio to the A pillar tweeter.

I bought a factory radio unlocked on ebay and had it installed. I got all my ding, bongs, beeps and chimes back but they are loud as hell! The installer said the radio is not a Bose unit so it is not working well with the Bose system in my truck. the radio is amplifying the factory Bose amps..

Im at a loss.... I guess Im screwed.
